Peer Pressure

11:47:00 AM

Peer pressure is something that can easily influence our actions if we’re not careful. Who we hang out with, and what our friends do, will likely have a large impact on what we do.

1 Corinthians 15:33, “Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.”
This is one very good reason we should carefully choose friends. It is hard to overcome peer pressure. We may have people who use peer pressure to challenge our faith, or attempt to persuade us to wrong thinking or actions. What happens then? Sometimes the more we say no to something someone wants us to do, the more the person will push at us. Stand strong, say no, and pray. Pray for the one using peer pressure and pray for yourself.

Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”

Every day we have decisions to make. Decisions about who we will choose for friends, and what kind of friend we will be. Whatever we do, God should be glorified.

1 Corinthians 10:31, “Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.”

God bless! ~Diamond
