Hobbies

11:19:00 AM

Hello everyone! Thank you, Blue Topaz, for coming up with another creative topic to post about :) so here goes…

My main hobby is art, art, art. Anything that has to do with art, I am probably a fan of.

-I enjoy doing drawings of people, in both anime and realistic style. The posted picture is a drawing of my little sister, Annabelle.

-Along with drawing comes fashion design. My goal is to draw outfits that are both fashionable and modest. Some of these created outfits I’ve sewn into doll clothes, which blesses my little sisters too.

-Then there’s crafting! I make charms and jewelry mostly, but I also enjoy making collages with paper scraps.

-LEGO architecture is an excellent creative outlet I really enjoy.

-My hands also stay busy making knitted and crocheted hats, scarfs, and leg-warmers.

-Computer animation is artistic and challenging. I do characters most of the time, it’s a lot of fun.

-Last, I’m excited about anything that is both outdoors and thrilling, like: rock climbing, cart-wheels, flips, rollerblading, ice skating, bike riding, and so on.

So, these are a few of my favorite things to do with free time besides hanging out with my awesome family. Thank you all for reading, it means a lot to me! I’d love to hear what you enjoy doing in your spare time!
God bless! ~Diamond

  4. Emma you are very talented young lady. I Knew before I read your post the drawing was Annabelle. You captured her very well in your drawing. Some artist can never draw portraits of people. Love you, Nana

    3. Thank you Nana! My next post on here is about the fruits of the Spirit, though my next art project is a try on classic fashion mixed with popping colors. I am also planning on doing a drawing of Gracie (like the one I did for Annabelle). Thank you so much Nana! It is very special getting to talk to you on here!

  5. Emma! How fun that you're doing this blog sweetie! You are such a beautiful and talented young lady and I think "Diamond" was a perfect choice. By its very nature, a diamond is a beautiful creation. The idea of something transforming under pressure; a simple, plain, and common element, enduring a process of hardship, through which it strengthens itself and morphs into a multi-faceted entity that is both stronger and more beautiful than any other natural element. You are becoming a beautiful diamond indeed!

I had no idea you were such a talented artist too! What a great picture of Annabelle. Follow the whims of your heart darlin! I love you and I am so proud of you <3 ~Auntie M
