Accepting how God made you

.Wednesday, July 13, 2016.

There are so many things in the society that are screaming words like “You need this to be appreciated” or “Don’t envy, be envied”!

1 Peter 3:3-4:
Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on apparel; But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is the sight of God of great price.

Lots of people fall for these things, they think they are not of any worth until they “fit in” with everyone else. People with this look of themselves, and on life, are focused on the outward. Seeing this way is not only a burden, it’s a trap. An outward look is always thirsting for more, and is never satisfied. No fulfillment will be found on looking outward, but where real fulfillment lies is in keeping a Godly, inward perspective.

Romans 7:22:
For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:

A big trap, especially for us ladies, is wondering if we’re physically attractive enough. Some ladies find their assurance as a person if they think they look outwardly beautiful. And even then, it is also a trap, because there will always be something “wrong” with one’s outward appearance. One of the (voted) most beautiful ladies, said she thought that she really wasn’t that pretty. No girl can find perfection in the outward look. There will always be a girl who we judge to have prettier hair or a more attractive smile. God made every person special and beautiful in their own way; He planned how they would look from the very start.

Psalm 139:14
I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are they works; and that my soul knoweth right well.

Most important is to know where real beauty resides, on the inside. We know God has made us all with an outward loveliness, but the real beauty is found in our hearts. Though the world will tell of beauty found in appearance, REAL beauty is found in the heart of one who loves and adores God, and who serves Him with an unquestioning respect. Remember, no matter what, God made you absolutely perfect and beautiful, no one can change that. I hope you have a lovely day! God bless!~Diamond

  1. Well addressed with understanding of the word. We are in the world but not supposed to be of the world which is a hard concept for most people to remember and live within but, a very important one! With so much pressure to fit in, to look like or be like everyone else without Spiritual discernment and staying in God's word it is hard to realize it's OK to be different and follow God's word and not stay in the mainstream of the world giving into peer pressure or vanity. (Something Lucifer was guilty of, that should tell us how important this Scriptual truth is to understand) When we know and understand who we are in and to our Heavenly Father, we have understanding it is only Hm we need to please. He will make all things fall into place when we wait upon Him, trusting in him and being obedient to his word.

Thank you for living and sharing this truth! You are a beautiful example of this! Beautiful inside and out and someone who radiates Gods Word and light! 💕🤗🙏🏻

  2. Thank you Grandma Evelyn! What you wrote is very well-said. Yes, it's such a ruse what the world will tell people about "fitting in". Currently, in the world, sharing God's word and your faith is not "fitting in".

    Mark 16:15
"And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature."
That's a great verse about obeying God, despite what "the world" may tell us. Even though the world says all these things about what you can and cannot do, as Christians God's law always comes first. Thanks again! I love hearing from you!
