Blue Topaz

Hi There!
I'm Ashley, better known on this blog as Blue Topaz. I'm a 21 year old girl with a lot to write about! I have 5 little brothers and 2 little sisters so it can get really crazy at our house. :) I love to write to put down my thoughts.

I'm currently attending a Bible college in Florida, and hope to get my CNA certification soon.

I choose Blue Topaz because that is my birthstone but you may be surprised to know that it's found in the Bible.

Topaz in the Bible was used for making the priest's breastplate in Old Testament times (Ex. 28:17 and 39:10) and Job talks about how wisdom will not equal the value of it (Job 28:19). In Ezekiel, Ezekiel talks about how Lucifer had a covering that included topaz (Eze. 28:3).  And in Revelation, God gives us a picture of what the new Jerusalem will look like and topaz will be the ninth foundation.

If you'd like to find out more about some of my other passions, you can check out:

    1. Hello Paige! I'm glad you found my blog! I've recently started a series on dealing with certain things in life and that would be a great place to start! The introduction to that series is here: You can also visit my page entitled 'Dealing With Series' and you'll be able to find all those posts there! Thanks so much for commenting and letting me know you're here :) let me know what you think of those posts!

    2. hey Ashley... I was wondering if you'd like to let me submit a guest post some time that I could write about depression and loneliness. I know you have covered it already, but I think I could give a unique insight. would you like me to email submit a guest post?
